Katya Grineva

Village West Gallery is proud to host a private concert by acclaimed pianist Katya Grineva.

On Saturday, May 20, in conjunction with the opening of "The Four Seasons" group show, Grineva will offer a 'seasonal' concert. Selections include: Tchaikovsky's October and June for solo piano, and Vivaldi's Spring for piano and cello (with cellist Byron Duckwall), as well as pieces by Chopin, Saint-Saens and Debussy.

Grineva will perform in the second floor space above Village West Gallery, one of the most beautiful spaces in Jersey City.

The May 20th concert begins at 7:00pm, with pre- and post-concert receptions at 6:30 and 8:00pm.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for under 18 years old. All proceeds go to the artists.

Altough we have more than doubled the amount of seating from last winter's concert, which sold out in less than 24 hours, space at Village West is limited, so you must RSVP by email to Robinson Holloway or by phone at 201-656-3408.

Russian-born Grineva is renowned for her deep connection to the Romantics, and she has had a record 16 solo concerts at Carnegie Hall.
