A moment of spontaneity and timelessness contained in a tiny square.
"In these paintings completed over a 2 year period, I limit my palette, and synthesize a minimal and gestural approach as I grapple with issues of time and mortality. The simplification of line and form is seen both with the absence of saturated color and the reintroduction of color. Here we see the vitality of the human spirit pushing up against the limitations of time."
