Mollie Thonneson's current series of work addresses the subject of aging. Finding herself in the role of care-giver for her Parkinson's affected mother-in-law, Thonneson attempts to deflect frustrations and overcome her own anxieties of growing old by painting portraits of her unexpected muse.
Thonneson lives and works in Jersey City, NJ.
