Exhibited at Village West in The Four Seasons show, Spring/Summer 2017

"But the American summer never passes without many sunsets that might vie with the Italian, and many still more gorgeous--that seem peculiar to this clime."       -- Thomas Cole, Essay on American Scenery, American Monthly Magazine 1 (January 1836)

"White, Yellow, Orange, Aqua, the colors of my Summer and the colors of Paradise 7. Summer, the season to put the top down, take to the highways and byways, and drive into the radiant, affectionate light of Paradise.

Utopian minimalism continue to influence my work. Using both my own configurations, and images of constructed space, I manipulate line, shape, form and color to create compositions that fuse representation and abstraction while harnessing light and 3-dimensional space on a 2-dimensional plane. My work focuses on spacial compositions that hold alienation and beauty in tension, producing distinctive contemporary images concerned with notions of purity and refinement."
