"Sprung shows a moment of disconnect from our fast moving, shrill, color-drenched everyday world.
Snow changes the landscape into an abstract world which lets the eye and the mind come to rest. Everything slows down, cools down, turns still. Possibilities for new experiences become available.
When I move through this landscape I find myself in my own time/space experience. I realize myself as an individual in the grand natural world, and I play with it. I forget about the fleeting nature of all things. Because of that I am able to fully enjoy the moment."
