Untitled (from the series Homeless)

oil on canvas, 12" x 12";  SOLD
Exhibited at Village West in Ancien Régime: the pre-revolutionary world Fall 2018

"For most of my life, I've been extra sensitive to people without homes. I remember seeing them on the street when I was little and my heart would hurt big. Over time I have watched the percentage of homeless increase, especially in the last few years.

I've been paying attention to how they are often vilified. Empathy is disappearing and our society is creating a class of Untouchables.

They are invisible unless they happen to be in our way."
