This image represents the immersive distraction of socializing via technology, as well as internet dating. Tinder, OkCupid and Facebook are referenced in this piece. People have symbiotic relationships with their smartphones, and use them as the vehicle for modern, remote connection with other people.

The lines linking the heads represents how this technology of communication keeps us constantly connected to one another. The connectedness for some can act as distraction, while newer generations move toward a more simple way to communicate with one another. Choosing to text and use simplified language such as emojis, rather than face time, which is more focused simulating reality. People become more comfortable with a head on a screen in their hand than a person in front of them. At the same time, focus on a small screen allows us to ignore the wider world around us.
