Viktoriya Basina participated in Wherefore Art in Spring 2019 at Village West.

Viktoriya received a Master's degree in painting from Moscow State Arts Academy in 2009. After graduation Viktoriya maintained a studio practice in Moscow, exhibited her work locally and internationally, and worked on numerous commercial and non-profit art projects in Russia, Mexico, and Austria.

In 2017 Viktoriya moved to Brooklyn where she continued exhibiting her work and started leading youth involved mosaic and mural public art projects in NYC.

Viktoriya actively exhibited her work thought the years. Since moving to USA she had three solo shows in New York and Virginia, completed a grand recipient residency at the Valparaiso Foundation in Spain and was an invited artist at the Art and Design Festival in Guri, South Korea. Her work remains in private and municipal collections in over a dozen countries.
